7 Keys Series: Key #1 - Getting Centered
Because, as Maria Nemeth says, “you can’t manifest from a state of anxiety.”
Before we even start talking about manifesting, we’ve got to talk about this:
Your nervous system.
Your energy field.
Your ability to come home to yourself—on purpose.
This is the Key most people skip. It doesn’t sparkle. It’s not sexy. You don’t get to post a picture of it on Instagram.
But without it, none of the rest works.
Because you can’t call in your dreams while you’re doom-scrolling, stress-breathing, or running through your day like your hair’s on fire.
You can’t manifest what your body can’t hold.
The Universe isn’t your fairy godmother—it’s your partner.
We forget that sometimes. We make a vision board, slap some pictures on it, light a candle, chant some affirmations—and then wonder why nothing happens.
But co-creation isn’t about waving a wand. It’s a relationship.
And like any sacred relationship, we show up to it differently when we’re fully present.
When we’re centered, we’re able to feel into what we really want—beyond the noise, the shoulds, the projections, the TikTok trends.
When we’re centered, our yes means yes. Our no means no.
Our ask is clear.
The world is loud. That doesn’t mean you have to be.
We are so conditioned to fill every pause with content, noise, distraction, someone else’s opinion.
And listen—I’m not saying you need to go full hermit.
I’m not giving up binge-streaming the latest season of Outlander, Bridgerton, or Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (yes, I am that girl).
But I am saying: we need to be more mindful about what’s coming into our field and whether it’s helping us center or scatter.
Take your mind back.
Take your attention back.
Even if it’s just for a few minutes a day.
Getting centered doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes it’s:
Turning off the news and putting on music that lifts you
Drinking your morning tea without checking your phone
Dancing in your kitchen
Sitting in silence with one hand on your heart and one on your belly
Whispering a mantra from your My Meditation Minute deck and letting it anchor you for 60 seconds
You don’t need incense, crystals, or a perfect mood.
You just need you.
This is where it all begins.
Not with the stuff.
Not with the list.
With you. Fully present. Breathing. Listening.
You don’t need to do anything else before getting here. You’re not behind.
This is the beginning.
Right at your version of being centered.
