"We don't fight against what we hate. We fight for what we love."
Manifesting Tip: the energy of your "why" is a better way forward.
The Weekly Energy Report for May 27 - June 1, 2025
This week's Affirmation: I choose where my energy flows. I honor my truth, trust my timing, and create from what’s real within me.
Hi Love,
I had a WHOLE other message set and ready to go for this week. But Spirit is cheeky and dropped some things in my lap that were way more aligned to talk about than what I had planned.
One thing most teachers of manifesting don’t talk about a lot is “The Contrast.” They talk about setting intentions, letting them go (and usually not expanding on this concept—we can talk about that later), and then being open to receiving.
Manifesting sounds pretty simple, right? Kind of like Amazon. You find what you want, you add it to your cart, you click place order, and BOOM—it shows up at your door.
However, sometimes things just sit in your cart while you go back and forth in your mind:
Should I buy this?
Do I deserve this?
Is there enough to cover this purchase?
Will it get here in time?
Is this the thing I want, or is there a more thing—something I don’t know exists but would want more?
Ugh! And the stuff just sits in your cart, lingering and never coming.
You did the things—right?
You asked for it.
You believed in it.
You made a vision board or journaled or whatever…
And it just stayed in the Amazon Vortex—waiting.
Waiting for you to resolve your time in The Contrast.
The Contrast is that place of second-guessing. It’s made out to be a bad place to be—kind of like your ego, or your shadow, or karma. When in actuality, every single one of these things is about balance and self-love.
The Contrast is when our intentions bump up against our blocks. It’s not something to be banished or loathed. In fact, it’s an invitation to the Shero’s journey—the journey to self through inner exploration.
When we experience Contrast, we’ve been programmed to figure out how to avoid it, bypass it, or do whatever we can to get around it. However, in these cases, the only way out is through.
All that to share this…
We are big streamers and hop between services depending on what’s on what platform. We decided to let go of Disney+ for a few different ones for the summer. So in preparation, the Star Wars nerd girl that I am needed to rewatch the original Star Wars—episodes IV–IX. I won’t go into why I didn’t watch episodes I–III. IYKYK.
In watching them, a lot of things jumped out at me. One that called me to write was a line from the big battle scene in The Last Jedi.
In the scene, Rose Tico is trying to explain to main character Finn why he needs to abandon his plans to sabotage a mega weapon of the First Order (the bad guys) by sacrificing his life, kamikaze-style. She flew her own vehicle into his to stop him and save him. When he asks her why she stopped him, she says:
“We don’t fight against what we hate. We fight for what we love.”
Oof. This landed square in my heart—and was so timely for right now.
Manifesting works like this: energy flows where focus goes.
When you fight against what you hate—you are focused on what you hate.
Thus, you get more of what you hate, thereby increasing and extending your struggle.
When you fight for what you love—your focus is on what you love.
Thus, you actually receive what you say you want.
So, contrary to current programming and indoctrination—starting a war on anything creates more war. Fighting against an empire, or authoritarianism, or low vibrational power, or the patriarchy, or whatever it is that you hate or are afraid of creates more of it. It sends them or it more power and disempowers you, creating more struggle.
Fighting for what you love—freedom, women’s rights, human rights, kindness to and for your fellow humans, support for the arts, honoring what you love, whathaveyou—creates more of that.
Does this mean don’t go to that protest?
No.
It means shifting your why about why you're going.
Does this mean you don’t have that hard conversation with your boss about the raise you deserve?
No.
It means shifting your energy going into that meeting. Focus on your “why”—why you love yourself and know you deserve this raise.
Fighting for what you love, instead of against what you hate or fear, changes the energy dynamic.
It changes your focus and draws in what you love—instead of what you don’t.
So today, think about all the things going on that irritate you, all the things you fight against because you hate them—or maybe they scare you.
Then ask yourself:
I know what I hate or fear… so what is the opposite?
What would I love?
What do I love?
What is my why for loving and believing the way I do?
What is my why for loving the outcome I desire?
What would it look like if I focused on that? What might I be doing or thinking differently?
Need support sorting this out?
I have spots open for June sessions and would love to walk with you through your contrast—and support you in manifesting your dreams.
When you’re clear on what you love and why it matters to you, your next right action doesn’t just get easier—it gets more aligned.

🔑 This Month’s Focus: The 7 Keys to Manifesting Dreams
This month I’ve reopened the door to the 7 Keys—to revisit where they came from, what they actually unlock, and how they’ve played out in real life (including mine). These are the foundations I return to over and over—not just in my own practice, but in the work I do with clients every day.
This first month is all about the origin story—what sparked the Keys, why they still matter, and how they’re different from surface-level manifesting fluff.

🌙 This Week’s Moon Energy: May 26 – June 1
Mon – Weds:
Monday begins the day in grounded Taurus, ideal for checking in with your body, tending to simple pleasures, and wrapping up lingering tasks. From 1:51pm – 5:21pm CT, the Moon goes Void—take this window to pause, reset, or go offline if you can.
At 5:21pm CT, the Moon shifts into Gemini, setting the stage for our New Super Moon at 10:02pm CT. This lunation offers a potent reset around how you think, communicate, and show up as a conscious leader in your own life.
New Moon in Gemini Themes:
Clarity | Communication | Conscious Leadership
Weds – Friday:
Wednesday opens with lingering Gemini New Moon energy—great for journaling, dream-tracking, or planting your intentions if you missed Monday night. The Moon goes Void from 1:01pm – 5:32pm CT.
At 5:32pm, Luna dives into Cancer, a watery, intuitive sign that calls us inward. This is a beautiful time for sacred self-care, nurturing your space, or tending to emotional needs (your own or others') without abandoning your boundaries.
Fri – Sun:
Friday’s Cancer Moon energy continues until 4:50pm, when we hit another Void period until 8:16pm CT. Then the Moon bursts into bold, expressive Leo, inviting a little creative fire back into the mix. This is a weekend for celebrating your wins, playing, and letting yourself be seen—especially in ways that feel authentic and joy-fueled.
The Moon goes Void again at 11:38pm CT on Sunday, so if you need to emotionally recalibrate, that evening could be a good time for digital detox or reflection.
